Space of fear
Fear is sunken into a semi basement but not a space of darkness, natural daylighting is allow to pierce through the translucent panel. The gap of opening below the wall enable users to hear the sound of water element which flow down from ground floor to the basement outside. The sense of fear is created when the users are not able to see what is happening outside. Hence, an entrapped feeling will be created in the users as they feel that they are stucked in an enclosed space.
Space of Hope
Space of hope is being shaded by louvers. Interesting shadow will be casted differently throughout the day. The orderly combination of translucent panel and wall allow ample but not strong daylighting to enter.Space of hope is also a space that is lifted up to show the contrast of emotion with fear which is sunken into thee basement. This space is also a quiet space as the noise is being block by the wall with louvers beside the staircase.
Space of Courage
The space of courage is enclosed and surrounded by thick wall as courage means to me is strong as well as sense of strength. Opening in the wall allow daylight to enter throughout the day. During certain time of the day when direct sunlight come in, harsh and strong light and shadow will be form.
